I had a brief moment of fame and now I have been replaced by Roosevelt. I have to say I LOVE ROOSEVELT and I wish him a happy, happy birthday.

We recently lost our cat, Fleck, who we’d had for more than 11 years. She suffered a major stroke and couldn’t be saved. We had to make the decision to put her down, which is a very hard thing to do. Chloe, our 7 year old, was very very upset about it, as she found Fleck lying on the floor paralyzed and in distress. It’s taken her a while to get over it. We scattered Fleck’s ashes on the heath near our home. Chloe drew a lovely picture trying to express how she felt, which we have stuck on the fridge. It makes me sad whenever I look at it.
