2 Things to Look Forward to at Mardi Gras

Killer Bees
The residents of flood-damaged St. Bernard Parish, still recovering from Hurricane Katrina, have a new concern: killer bees.

Agriculturalists began setting traps around a half-mile radius of a storm-wrecked home Monday that authorities have confirmed was infested with aggressive Africanized honey bees.

Can’t wait.

  1. Has anyone once stopped to think that the killer bees are responsible for all the murders?

  2. Ok I am speaking as a mother to all of you. New Orleans has become an even more dangerous place these days. No longer are the shootings between rival drug dealers for territory. You have no idea how I fear for all of you because everyone is a target now. Your innocent football game can easily end in tragedy because human life is of no value. I want everyone to have a wonderful time. I love Mardi Gras and I love seeing all of you, but things are so different now. Just be careful and watch our for each other. Stay together and hold hands when you cross the street.

  3. Thanks Marnie, you’re one of the best moms around. (I have to say ‘one of’ because my mom may be spying in on this conversation). I’ll be sure to hold hands with all, even the killer bees. Help! Help!

  4. Don’t worry, Marnie … Mayor Nagin will protect us. What are the odds that they’ll actually impliment a curfew?

  5. David, please share whatever you are smoking or drinking. Invisible Man cannot protect anyone or anything. He would probably stupid enough to impliment a curfew. The curfew time should be from 7am until 11pm because that is when all the murders are occuring. Just stay together and be careful.
