Saints punter Mitch Berger has been lost for the season with a groin injury.
To fix the problem, New Orleans has decided to re-acquire quarterback Aaron Brooks and will simply try to turn the ball over before facing a punting situation.

We should adopt the never punt strategy and go for every fourth down, unless we are in field goal range.
Also, I’m sure you noticed we signed another dreg linebacker. This time the guy was cut from Oakland. I wonder if the 49ers have any linebackers that couldn’t make their team we can sign.
Think of the press we’d get if we go for it every fouth down. We can run a ton of fake punts and pooch kicks from Brees. I really like this idea. Browns by 20.
Pooch kick is one of my favourite plays. I love the surprise thing and watching linebackers scramble around. Hadn’t seen one for ages before I saw one last season – I think it was rofflesburger?
