My dad just made gumbo last week for Carnival. Maybe he’ll post his recipe when he sees this.
Also, Paul’s dad has good recipe as well, if you can get it out of Paul.
Mr. U, We’re going to Houston this w/e, so during the drive I’ll actually try to write down my gumbo recipe. I usually just make a grocery list, then put it all together. A (not so) secret ingredient is a can of Rotel tomatoes, and of course, some Tony Chaceries seasoning. Making the roux is not difficult, but you can also buy it ready made. But I do need to get it written down. I’ll get back to you next week.
