You gotta have faith

I can’t wait for this week’s Saints-Giants game.

Some 600 displaced New Orleans residents will be flown to the New York-New Jersey area by relief agencies; the city’s police chief, Eddie Compass, will be involved with former president George Bush in the coin toss; and Saints gold and black will be displayed along the blue walls of the stadium and in one of the end zones.

  1. Pnb said in the other place he’s got tickets for the game – hopefully it’ll be a good one

  2. Tiki’s gonna donate 100 dollars per yard and 500 dollars per TD? That’s a bit of a double-edged gesture, lol

  3. yeah no kidding.

“If you stop me, I’m not giving your city any money!”

I’m so jealous of Pnb. I’m really excited about this game.

  4. You gonna get to see it on TV? We’ve got the Jags at the Colts and Falcons at the Seahawks this weekend.

  5. Yeah, they are making a big thing about it on TV here, its Disaster Relief Weekend according to the NFL.

  6. I just love all the self-serving advertisements and promotions based around the hurricane and flooding.

Where were these people 6 months ago when so many of these evacuees were living in destitute poverty?

Right there with the bleeding heart professors and conservative talk show hosts busily going about their lives and ignoring this appalling social problem in the wealthiest nation in the world.

  7. I think I might be able to see an hour of the Saints this Monday. The Cowboys come on at 8 and that will be the end of the coverage. I am just about to loose it with FEMA, the Red Cross and especially USAA. Please DO NOT use this insurance company!!!!!!!!!! They are pathetic.

    Love to all,
    Marnie
