I’m not sure I’m in the “Turn Deuce Loose” camp.
He is not the player he once was. He’s had surgery on both knees last season, and more surgeries before that. I love Deuce McAllister, but I’m not sure he is the “I’m going to carry the entire Eagles d-line and linebacking corps into the endzone” of old.
Poor Deuce.
He carried twice this year for 10 yards!
That doesn’t mean anything. Two carries.
Unfortunately, it’s all we have to go on. Why run him at all, if he is too hurt to play. Something is rotten.
I agree with you, Brent. Give him a chance…see what he can do. Surely he could have made 1 YARD!
It’s hard to make one yard when there is a defender in the backfield, like there was on all three infamous 1 yard attempts.
Once again….give him a chance and see what he can do…..Turn Duece Loose….one way or another.
