So Leslie and I spent New Year’s Day in the Touro ER after I sliced my thumb open with a box cutter.

OK, I guess it’s not that gory. It hurt though. I should have taken a before shot, when the pad of my thumb was flopping off. My apologies. My excuse is that I had one good hand, which was mostly occupied by applying pressure to my thumb to stop the spurting blood. I’ll do better next time.
