The Hornets are officially a New Orleans team now. They got our hopes up, made us believe, and then almost made it.
I will now call myself a Hornets fan, because they broke my heart. I stayed up to watch the game and everything. It got exciting there at the end, when they almost won.

Yes, the Hornets can break your heart with the best of them. However, they are not an “official” New Orleans team because you cannot buy a Hornets shirt at Walmart yet. Got to love them!
My mother has more stringent requirements for acceptance, it seems.
Mark it down: The Hornets will win an NBA Championship in the next three years. Chris Paul, not Reggie Bush, is the savior of New Orleans. I love him.
Remember the sports announcer who said that the Saints were not the team to save New Orleans and we both groaned? I am sorry, but the Hornets will never replace the Saints–Chris Paul or not.

Cool logo. It almost makes all those crappy yellow shirts the fans wore in every home game forgivable.
With Paul, this team will be a force for some time, I doubt they can in the championship any time soon, without another significant front court addition, but they will be good.
Now, would it kill people to actually attend their regular season games?
They gave out white shirts for the last playoff game. They did not show up as well on TV as the yellow ones. People seem to be crazy abou the Hornets down here so hopefully it will carry over to next season.
