Fantasy Football season has begun
If you can make sense of this, you’re a loser. Like me. And Dave.
Dave and I have different philosophies about fantasy football drafting. Dave hates some guys. Won’t take them ever. I love them all. I mean look at me, I have Eli Manning on my team. But that’s because I am so full of love. Dave, all that hate is going to eat you up inside, just like it did to C. Thomas Howell.

And how can you hate Clinton Portis as a person? I understand not thinking he’s that great of a player, but come on, you can’t hate Kid Bro Sweets, Dr. I Don’t Know, or Sheriff Gonna Getcha. The man is obviously insane, but in a Moses or Whistlemonster kind of way, and not in a live-in-a-box-and-scream-at-pedestrians kind of way.

I was flagging towards the end, it was about half past midnight. Could have done better with my last few picks, but I think I had a fairly solid draft. At least I didn’t draft Eli Manning.

Is that a 14 team league? I aspire to be part of a 14 team league one day.
I can understand not drafting someone because you hate them. A better question might be, why do people still draft once-great players that they like, but who now suck, like Brett Favre?

Clinton Portis needs help, and he’s not getting it because he is a famous person. I’m not comfortable with having someone like that on my team.

But he has so much passion there is a hole in his heart! or something. Anyway, Hobo Bill Belichick is going to kill him like he killed that other linebacker. One game, he will be trying to tackle Marshawn Lynch and his heart will explode and he will go up to Patriots heaven just like Ed Norton.

This is the first time I’ve drafted Clinton Portis since the trade from Denver to Washington. Which happened about 10 days after I shelled out 50 dollars for a Portis Broncos shirt while I was in Denver. I bore a grudge about that for 3 and a half years.
I’m with Dave. I could never have Stephen Jackson on my team. I think he’s good, but I don’t like him. I used to feel the same way about Pittsburgh players, because I used to be an Oilers fan. Others include: Chris Sims, Any Cleveland Brown (see above), and Clinton Portis.
