Chuck and I participating in a Civil War Re-Enactment
The sad thing about the Civil War was that it forced brother to fight against brother.
So sad.

Chuck was very gracious in victory. He let me keep my horses.

I assume that there’s supposed to be a picture in this post?

How come I see the picture?
And Dave, I didn’t have any slaves. For me, it was all about states’ rights.

Brent, I wouldn’t have gone to war with you if you could actually sell a picture. Look at your face? Is that the expression we wear when we’ve just lost a war? You look like a blushing bride.

Stoppable … Where’d you get that great Charlie Brown winter coat? And can I have it?

I bought it at the Salvation Army here in Omaha. No you cannot have it. Furthermore, that particular thrift store - which always used to have the best coats in Omaha - is now closed. It was notable for it’s coats, and for the two ladies who worked there - one of which never stood up once. She was sitting in the same place every time we ever went in there. Also one time, there was this really really dirty guy who came in when Chuck and I were there. He reminded me of the Green Night, from King Arthur, but he was brown/black instead of green. And he wasn’t a night. And he didn’t say that anyone could take their best shot at him, with the understanding that he would be able to reciprocate if he survived our blow. And we weren’t knights either.

With that beautifully colored scarf you’re wearing, you could win ANY war frau Buttercup!

Sorry for your defeat … What are going to do with all your slaves?
